How to attempt HSSC English Paper Effectively in Any Board

Here I am going to show how can you improve your English and get maximum marks in this subject. Many students get low marks in English however they are best in other subjects. There are two major reasons just like Urdu. One main reason is that Students do very common and pathetic mistakes like Incorrect Punctuation, Wrong use of Articles, Spelling Mistakes, and many more which I will explain later.  Now I am going to tell you the second main mistake which is encountered by students. They attempt paper with the poor and traditional presentation. Here traditional presentation refers to the style in which they wrote in low classes. I will explain everything about the English paper for all classes. I will explain what mistakes many students do in exams and how to minimize and overcome them. Most of the FBISE students don't know the syllabus of English. So if you want to then download this PDF file from the official website and read the content of your class. All classes syllabus from 1 To 12th Class is given.

Now move to the steps which must be followed by each and every student to get maximum marks in this subject.

1. Make your Grammar Strong

These are the main mistakes students do in English papers.

  • Punctuation
  • Wrong use of Article
  • Misspelling
  • Tenses Mistakes
  • Prepositions
  • Adverbs
You can easily correct these mistakes by making your English better. Now the main questions arise "From Where and How to Learn These Grammar Attributes?". Here I am going to tell you how you can improve your grammar. Grammarly is the best platform for learning grammar. Just Type one of the above attributes in Google and write "Grammarly" at the end of your query. For Example, "Capitalization Rules Grammarly". Grammarly is the only thing that can make you perfect in your English. Grammarly allows you to check your grammar.
Click Here to open the Grammarly Grammar Checker and type some sentences and then see your mistakes.

So in this way, you can make your grammar eminent. Must practice yourself on a daily basis and learn at least one attribute of grammar daily to make it splendid for yourself.

2. Read English NEWS Papers

Reading newspapers is worthwhile for you if you want to see your English level at peek.
All I know is what I read in the papers.
Mostly in FBISE, the English paper is unseen. Students get puzzled in such situations and failed to attempt papers. The reason is that they are totally unable to make sentences. So by reading newspapers and articles, you become strong in writing content. If the essay is unseen in the paper then you should write it like a seen essay. You can do this only if you read articles and newspapers and practice your English as I mentioned above. I recommend acting upon this advice for a better English Level.

HOW TO ATTEMPT PAPER EFFECTIVELY
Now I am going to share some tips for attempting the paper. You have to attract the examiner to your paper.
Apki Presentation aisi honi chahye k Examiners Majbor ho Jaye marks Dene Py.

3. How to Attempt Short Questions

When we talk about short questions then a question comes in our mind is that " Why marks are deducted in Short Question". There are four reasons for this question.
  1. 0.5 marks are deducted for every grammar mistake.
  2. 0.5 marks are deducted for 4 spelling mistakes.
  3. 0.5 marks for presentation.
  4. 0.5 marks are deducted for the too-long answer.

Now think about how many mistakes you made during the paper. Students think that they do everything correctly on paper and examiners mark their paper strictly. But actually, they do a lot of such mistakes in the paper.

The solution of these Mistakes

Firstly read the question and analyze whether it is in the present tense or past tense. If the question is about the past then write past tenses on paper and if the question is in the present tense then write your answer in the present tense. Secondly, don't write those words whose spelling is not confirmed to you. Thirdly, Read at least 2 times your answer after completing. Now if we talk about the length of the answer then
Don't Write answer more than 55 words.
Here is the presentation example of short questions.
